Your Roofline Replacement Specialist

Our staff will arrive at a time agreed between yourselves and our management. Our flexible Easi-dec multi-purpose scaffolding system is then erected in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.

On the straight runs of the house (where the gutter is fitted)

  • Two rows of tiles are removed and carefully stored on one side.
  • All existing softwood timbers are removed and disposed of.
  • Eachl timber spar end and felt section is checked for rot and erosion.
  • Any internal rotten timber ends are replaced.
  • A pvcu rigid eaves protection system is fitted down the whole length of the straight run to protect the joist ends.
  • A horizontal plumb line is attached to the external joists and rectangular pvcu blocks fitted to the internal joists to give the fascia and soffit a perfect plane on which to be attached.
  • Grade 1 Swish manufactured 19mm (average) solid fascia and 9mm solid soffit boards are then fitted to the pvcu blocks with non-rusting stainless steel colour co-ordinated nails and pins.
  • High quality grade 1 silicone sealant seals the boards to the walls.
  • A non maintenance over-fascia ventilation trim is fitted to the top of the fascia board, allowing air to pass behind the gutter and into the roof space.
  • The huge advantage of a hidden ventilation trim is that it does not require cleaning or maintenance whereas the holes in a soffit ventilation system can become clogged within 1 year, meaning more maintenance for you.
  • Extra capacity Niagra gutters and downspouts are then fitted and sealed.

On the gables of the House

  • All mortar is removed from the tile ends.
  • Two rows of tiles are removed from the gable end.
  • The external spar ends are then checked for rot and rigidity.
  • Grade 1 Swish manufactured 19mm (average) solid fascia and 9mm solid soffit boards are  fitted to the external spar ends with non-rusting stainless steel colour co-ordinated nails and pins.
  • Individual dry verge edges are screw fixed.
  • Boxed ends are constructed to give a perfectly symmetrical finish.
  • All waste and rubbish is then removed from site.

Another happy customer is our goal !
